Kenari Update
Before I left Tpg I took the kenari to Dad's regular mechanic to check out the car due to the rattling and rumbling sound from the engine. Well Dad has informed that the engine mounts (3 Nos) were replaced as we have suspected and that was that. He said that all is well with the car and that he enjoyed the power steering. Mayb any one of you guys can test out the drive shafts (viz do full turns to check out the drive shafts) when you are back visiting. Engine mount replacement cost RM300+. Cheers.

Poor Kancil
Dad's new car looks great from the photos, dad confirms the paint work is in great condition, ( polished before delivery? ) I'm sure he was very surprised when he saw it!
Is that some tint I saw on the window? It really does help in keeping the car cooler in our hot climate. I can't help but noticed Kancil seemed to be sidelined in the back ground ; )

P/S Dad said the thing appreciates most about the Kenari : Power Steering!!

Dad's "New" Kenari

Hi Everybody,
Here are some pics of Dad's 'new' used kenari that Lawrence and family managed to get on our behalf. Already lost some money on 4D but then again who knows, persistence may pay off in the not too distant future. The Car is in great condition ie paintwork, interior, tyres, etc except that maybe engine block bearings may need to be replaced. Will take it to Dad's regular mechanic to check it out before I leave for KL.
Dad is taking to the car like fish to water ... after intro ride with Lawrence and Mike, he was already driving off on his own. So no need to worry. Just notice that the rear view mirror may be located a tad higher due to car headroom and he will have to look up instead (which may not be too good). Anybody with solution to this? Maybe a glue on rear view mirror from other makes??
Tomorrow the mechanic will come by to collect the car to replace the engine rubber mounts. I have a sneaky feeling the drive shafts may also be worn. Anyhow, you can check with Dad tomorrow.

We had matang seafood with Pa and Ma and we were looking forward to some crabs, but unfortunately no crab available according to Ma, it's early month and best time is when the moon is full. So we had fav pomfret, prawn, lala (failure, don't order this ) and vegetables.
